With a background that includes working in many different areas of the entertainment industry, Alan is at home making music videos, working on a documentary or staging large scale media events. His passion for theatre and live performance is always evident in the types of projects he writes, directs or produces.
I'm part of a team helping to organise an event called 'Sounds of the Underground' on Saturday 18th February, as part of the Roundhouse Rising Festival 2017. Our all-day event will be showcasing emerging artists and celebrating the diversity and talent of London's music scene.
During the day, we’re hosting a panel discussion on the future of London's live music scene and the challenges it faces given the ongoing venue closures around the city. Given your role as the Chairman of the NTIA and championing of London's nightlife, we were wondering if you might be interested in joining the panel to share your experience and knowledge.
The panel is taking place on Saturday 18 February at 4-5pm in The Hub of The Roundhouse. The full line-up of panellists is still being confirmed. We are expecting an audience of c. 50 people, predominantly young creatives and emerging artists.
It would be fantastic if this is something you are interested in and available to do. Please do let me know either way, and get in touch if you have any questions or want more information at this stage.
